Parent University provides MNPS parents and caregivers access to and awareness of skills, information, and resources, which empower them in being their children's best teacher and advocate.

What we do

Parent University is a program designed to help parents in supporting their child's education. The program affords a unique opportunity for parents, schools, and community to become jointly involved in education. Parent University program provides training, information, and resources to parents and caregivers that will aid parents in their essential responsibility for influencing children's lives. The focus of our program is based on Epstein's Framework on Involvement. These areas support and empower parents to become leaders and advocates for their child's learning, and for school and community improvement.
