Welcome to the Online "Orbit"

Overton's school newspaper, The Orbit, has been the voice of Overton's student body for decades. The Orbit's staff is comprised of student's from Mrs. Weathers-Logoleo's journalism classes. Freelance articles and editorials are accepted and will be published pending editorial board approval and if space permits. The driving purpose of The Orbit is to serve as a vehicle to keep students informed of the happenings at John Overton so that they can be more active participants. Its production schedule is once a month and had been given free to students and faculty in past years. In an effort to go "GREEN" and defray the expense of printing, fewer copies will be printed and they will be sold for $1.00. Costs are offset by advertisers and sponsors.
