Dual Enrollment |

Beginning in 2009-2010, Overton is paired with Nashville State Community College to offer Dual Enrollment courses. These courses are offered online or are taught at Nashville State. Just like any college course, there will be greater rigor throughout the semester than a standard or honors course. Unlike AP courses, there is no test at the end of the course to determine credit. Students who pass the course will receive credit at Overton and Nashville State. Nashville State will provide a transcript to the student upon request. Course offerings in 09-10 will be limited as this new program is developing. |
