We want to congratulate the Awesome Johnny O Band on two outstanding performances Saturday in the Contest of Champions at MTSU! In the preliminary competition Overton received one of only six Superior Ratings and won 2nd Place in Class AAA. In the finals, John Overton won First Place and the overall Grand Championship. They were also named the State Marching Band Champions for Tennessee. This the third time John Overton has won the Grand Championship and the sixth State Championship. Congratulations on an Awesome weekend.
