Advanced Placement

A variety of Advanced Placement (AP) courses are offered at Overton. AP courses offered this year are Music Theory, World History, Environmental Science, US History, Government, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, English III, English IV, Statistics, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, and Biology. See your guidance counselor for more information.

The documents below are very important when registering for AP classes. A student wanting to register for any AP course must print the AP Letter of Understanding for the subject, and it must be signed by both the student and parent. Counselors will not enroll any student into an AP course without submitting an AP Letter of Understanding at the time of registration. The syllabus for the course you are interested in is located next to each Letter of Understanding, and students must review the syllabus for the course before registering for the course.
